The protests continue

Update Feb 22, 2011

Venezuelan twitters were outraged by the news revelead by British Prime Minister David Cameron that infamous Muammar Gadhafi's was on his way to Venezuela. Twitter reports explained that Hugo Chavez had offered Ghaddaffi to stay at Hato Piñero with government protection.

Please know that just recently Hugo Chavez expropriated Hato Piñero from the Branger family and gave it to the Lybian government.

The revolution gives away Hato Piñero to the Lybians, after stealing it in the name of its fake socialism (November 29, 2010)

Dear Journalists,

Venezuelans are following the protests in the Arab world. The following pictures of infamous Hugo Chavez and Moammar Gadhafi who share at this time the imminent fate of being ousted by the people are circulating the Internet:

Venezuelan citizens have already suffered too much abuse of power from Hugo Chavez.

Former Caracas Mayor Leopoldo Lopez is asking for help in circulating the following petition to stop polical disabilitation. Hugo Chavez following a whim is blocking Mayor Lopez to run for public office until 2014.

NO a las inhabilitaciones políticas! Firme la petición para remitirla a los jueces de la Corte Interamericana.

Ambassador Adolfo Taylhardat wrote article La plaza Tahrir highlighting the similarities between former dictator Hosni Mubarak and Hugo Chavez:

Venezuelan students continue to protest in front of the Organization of American States offices in Caracas, and at different embassies complaining human rights abuses. Hugo Chavez seems to neglect the students’ claims.

Please know that Franklin Brito one of the hunger protester against Chavez died and his voice was not heard:

Internationalist Pedro Mario Burelli was interview by Voice of America concerning the recent comments made by U.S. Congresman Connie Mack, and Senator Bob Menendez about Hugo Chavez.

It does not cease to amaze me that even in the worst crises Venezuelans immediately come up with a joke. Perhaps this attitude is what keeps them sane.

This is Chavez’s new desktop according to blogger El Chiguire Bipolar:

Venezuelans need the aid from world leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

Cordially,
