In the meantime in Venezuela …

Dear Journalists,

While the developed world is relieved with the announcement of the end of the war in Lybia infamous Hugo Chavez is calling the late Moammar Gadhafi a martyr. Venezuelan citizens need to know when they can recuperate their personal property given against their will by Chavez to Gadhafi including Liberator Simon Bolivar’s sword

Venezuelan citizens also need to be assured of clean democratic elections free of the alleged criminal algorithms cheating them of the results. However, Hugo Chavez continues to block former Mayor Leopoldo Lopez as a presidential candidate.

Harvard Internationalist Pedro Mario Burelli reacted to the blocking of Leopoldo Lopez:

It seems that the Carter Center has realized their error not seeing alleged open fraud in the Venezuelan presidential elections where President Jimmy Carter and staff were observers, and have issued a press release concerning the case of Leopoldo Lopez vs. Venezuela issued on September 1, 2011

Venezuelans need help from world leaders, and the International Court of Justice, to resolve abuse of power in Venezuela and restore democracy.

Cordially,
