Global Protest Against Hugo Chavez

Venezuela opposition against Hugo Chavez’s abuse of power has scheduled a protest in several cities around the world to take place on Sunday, January 23.

Movie star Maria Conchita Alonso was interviewed by CNN in Spanish, and is inviting everyone to please join Venezuelans in this protest:

As expected, Hugo Chavez seems to be pathologically lying playing with Venezuelans’ hope for democracy. After the abusive seven hour long speech to the nation last week Chavez is already recalling his promise to remove the block against the new legislators:
