Venezuela's Political Disaster - November 22, 2008

Dear Journalists,

Preparing for the upcoming municipal elections scheduled to take place on November 23, Venezuelans are anxiously e-mailing, and requesting assistance for the integrity of the so infamous Chavez's electoral process system. There are reports that Chavez's officials allegedly have been violating the campaign restrictions as indicated in the attached link:

At this time, people are still outraged that Chavez seized the television networks for his political talks while the population was in danger during the severe storm devastating the city as described by Journalist Eleonora Bruzual in her radio talk show yesterday:

Cerrada la Campaña Electoral con las lluvias azotándonos y un Chávez mostrando su insensibilidad y su maldad

In the ludicrous side, there is one e-mail circulating with the announcement made by one of Chavez's officials during a press conference following the huge storm stating (rough translation) that the city's streets water sewers have not been cleared for long time thus draining is impossible. This is while Chavez buys satellites, and cares about other nations.

Venezuelans need help from developed governments and international organizations to restore democracy and end corruption.

Cordially,
