Venezuela's Political Disaster - August 5, 2006

Dear Journalists,

I deleted the call for S.O.S. in the title of this message to avoid crying wolf frequently; however, the situation in Venezuela requires immediate action from powerful good willing international organizations.

Chavez is trying to intimidate citizens seeking democratic elections as indicated in my previous post with a quote from Maria Corina Machado, Executive Director of Sumate. The attached link written by Miguel Octavio explains at least one of the ways of how Chavez is planning on cheating the elections:

Perhaps Chavez is making bilateral agreements with Iran about issues that may involve the future of Cuba after Castro moves on to Hell. Chavez is too close to Cuba and all the agreements that he is signing with Iran could have ulterior motives. I heard on Fox News that Terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's cell phone data had calls to Cuba. Would Chavez be planning to take over Cuba?

Please read the information provided by The Washington Post concerning the future of Cuba in this link with the question "With Castro ailing, America and Venezuela square off to direct Cuba's future. Who will dominate post-Fidel Cuba and does it matter for the world?"

Next please find editorial written by Alexander Boyd "Fidel Castro has died" which spells out exactly what most of us have been thinking about in the last few days:

Venezuela's Political Disaster - August 4, 2006

Dear Journalists,

Chavez seems to be blocking democratic activities in Venezuela as denounced by Sumate Director Maria Corina Machado in the attached quote:

"The Government has made every effort, has put all obstacles, to ruin the primaries. They are trying to instill fear into people; terrify contributors; scare us, the organization board of directors." María Corina Machado, NGO Súmate director

The next link is to report commenting on Raul Castro (Fidel’s brother) currently in charge of Cuba during the infamous dictator’s illness:

It seems that Raul Castro is aware that Chavez’s loving friendship with Fidel could be in order to take over Cuba.

Venezuela's Political Disaster - July 31, 2006

Dear Journalists,

Attached herewith please find link to article reporting the delivery of letter to Kofi A. Annan, Secretary-General of the United Nations, by Venezuelans demanding peace in the Middle East. The group of Venezuelans attending the event showed up with posters demanding that Hezbollah leaves Venezuela. It seems that Hezbollah is active in the hostage nation.

In related events, Chavez has been meeting with Iranian President Mahmud Ahmadinejad and making several bilateral investment agreements. Chavez is also threatening to cut oil supply and of other actions against the United States as reported in the attached links:

Please keep in mind that Chavez is allegedly speaking for his own personal interests since he does not represent the general opinion of Venezuelans.
