Venezuela's Political Disaster - October 25, 2006

Dear Journalists,

Attached below please find link to article "UN: Venezuela, Guatemala fail to reach agreement" published in El Universal:

It seems that Chavez is the issue acting again his own skillful negotiators at the United Nations.

Reuters' Irwin Arieff writes in the link below published in The Washington Post "
Although Venezuela is a major oil supplier to the United States, ties have deteriorated, particularly since Chavez described Washington as his No. 1 enemy and called President Bush "the devil" in a General Assembly speech in September. Diplomats said that had cost him votes":

Please keep in mind that Evo Morales, President of Bolivia, is Chavez's ally and brother in causes. Morales has said that he will back-up Venezuela to the end as indicated in the quote below published in
http://english.eluniversal.com/. So, electing Bolivia for the U.N. Security Council seat would be exactly the same as if Chavez were to have won it.
"Sure enough, some countries have the right to exert such pressure. It is their right. I will say no more. But many Latin American countries did decide to back Venezuela for the Security Council. We will support Venezuela at the Security Council to death."Bolivian President Evo Morales

Alexandra Beech writes "Venezuela, USA, and the Axis of Dr. Evil." Alexandra Beech's findings would be informative to the nations voting for a replacement choice for the Latin America two-year seat at the United Nations Security Council.

The following link has been circulating the Internet for the last several months, and its circulation has increased because of the United Nations' struggle electing the new member at the Security Council:
